Motion Design
Rocketbarn June 2012 - Present
Motion Graphic/Visual Effects Artist: Creating motion graphic content using After Effects and other programs, focused primarily on motion tracking and compositing to remove or add assets to a shot.
Compositing/VFX: Taking footage and seamlessly blending visual effects and motion design elements into a scene.
Automation: crafting unique and case specific automations using javascript, python, C#, and other tools to automate repetitive tasks to create unique, procedural animations and workflows.
Run Studios August 2022 - December 2022
Motion Graphics and Live Action integration: I worked with the Run Studios team in their Amazon Customer Service department to help create consumer facing videos that help users engage with Amazon products and services.
Character Animation and rigging: Often in these explainer videos, rigged characters would be used to interact with Amazon products. I both used these and helped optimize the universal rig that was used by my team.
Post Production
Studio Say So October 2018 - July 2022
Motion Graphics Artist: Taking the creative directors’ vision and animation frames and bringing them to life. I animate mostly with After Effects, using a proficient blend of expressions and keyframes to create visually interesting animations.
Lead Video Editor: Executing the post-production of a video project from beginning to end, starting with proficient organization and ending with a polished and beautiful video. I accomplish this through a deep sense of story and sensitivity to how certain looks, camera movements, & music edits will make the audience feel, as well as polishing edits to reduce any distractions. This role often expands into other post production roles such as sound mixer/designer and colorist.
Post-Production Supervisor: Working with many other contractors in a fast-paced studio environment, and collaborating to create post-production workflows, maintain computers & servers, and oversee edits.
Film Production

Editor: Bringing a director’s vision for a film to the screen in creative and innovative ways. The bulk of my freelance work is focused in post production at every level, whether as the main editor, VFX/Mograph artist, or colorist.
Colorist: Matching the color, tone, and grade across a finalized edit to give the final piece a beautiful and polished feel.
Post Production Supervisor: Developing post production processes, supervising other editors and sound mixers, and managing client relations from the post-production standpoint.
Pre-production: Writing, storyboarding, and planning a shoot on an indie film budget.
